John Chamberlain, of the area of Innovation in Naturgy, participated in the South Summit in the panel "Accelerating the clean and sustainable energy revolution", moderated by Mireille Toulekima, of MT Energy Resources (Australia), and that also counted the presence of with Luis Santos (EDP), Josep-Miquel Torregrosa (InnoEnergy) and Matt Prescott, (Ferrovial-Heathrow Airport).

In his speech, John commented on the difficulty of the challenge of the energy transition and the need to count on the contribution of natural gas in the energy mix of the future. He also emphasized the need to continue developing the technologies of renewable natural gas and H2 as part of the decarbonisation process in order to have a gas with zero CO2 emissions.

Finally, he highlighted the important role that natural gas and renewable natural gas can have in the decarbonisation of the transport sector.
