Come to Barcelona metropolitan plant of municipal waste treatment in Montcada i Reixac, and see the UMBRELLA prototype, where the energy used to treat water from the organic fraction treatment is reduced more than 70% compared to conventional treatments and the resulting biogas is transformed into biomethane used in municipal vehicles. It is a contribution to the change of urban mobility and development a green cities for a greener future.
